who we are

together life skills centre is a not-for-profit organisation and conducts an intensive programme that prepares people with autism and other intellectual impairments for independent living. Our vocational training programme prepares students to work in our sheltered workshop. The vocational training programme consists of three modules, 1) bakery 2) job work sourced from corporates 3) weighing and packaging. We have a successful baking programme since two years now and are supported in our training by the chefs at Puratos India Ltd. We have been granted FSSAI: Registration Certificate bearing No. 21516021000078 under the Food Safety and Standard Act, 2006

Our programme also focuses heavily on kitchen management, self-care and age-appropriate use of leisure time. We have an airy, bright and colourful work environment with a fully equipped kitchen Our students learn to help prepare their meal at the centre and are encouraged to utilise the kitchen fully.

We conduct a computer education programme based on the Prayas model that has been specifically designed for people with autism. We encourage our students to communicate verbally/in sign language on topics that are a part of our daily lives. We have Skype sessions

We have a wonderful team of co-workers and volunteers from all walks of life who interact with our students and encourage them to co-exist with people in the environment.

Everything we do, everything we teach is for the purpose of preparing our students to live independently, after the lifetime of parents.

We work Monday to Friday 10 am to 5 pm
